Built in the 1970s as a private home, House of Waine is now owned and run by a local African family. The name ‘Waine’ has special meaning as it contains the initials of the members of the family who own it. Here you will find personalised friendly service and excellent cuisine in beautiful surroundings. This small hotel is 30km from Jomo Kenyatta International airport, 12km from Wilson local airport and 18km from Nairobi centre.

There are 11 lavish en-suite single, double or twin rooms elegantly furnished. All rooms have satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, air conditioning and internet connection. 9 rooms have marble bathrooms with bath and shower. 2 rooms only have a bath.

The daily set menu is varied and uses only the freshest ingredients and gives guests 2 options for each course. Traditional Kenyan food can also be served on request. There is a breakfast terrace, dining room and terrace, a lounge and 2 bars, and also a heated swimming pool.
